After enjoying 3 very busy days at the Caffe Culture Show, E Thorpe and Sons are very pleased to announce their participation in the Real Food Festival series of events. The first event for E Thorpe and Sons will be the 'Real Food Harvest Festival' held at the Southbank Centre, London on the 23rd to 26th of September. The real food festival series will carry on exposing the Premier's Tea brand to the UK consumer and will further establish Premier's as a quality brand of choice. Also booked is a stand at the main event in the real food festival series at Earls Court next year in May 2011. More shows and exhibitions will be added to our calendar to ensure E Thorpe and Sons continue to promote Premier's and Indian Tea and propel them to the top of everybodys tea list.




June 23rd to 25th saw the very well attended Caffe Culture Show 2010 take place. Edward and Jason were extremely please with the show visitors and took away far more trade leads than they were expecting. Not only was the interest shown very positive but it came from all over the world. The most popular items were by far the 'Silver Magic Tea Wand'. Even the staff at the press office came to the stand for more. Some items were so popular that stocks are already forecast to be running out.more supplies will be ordered direct from the Premier's production facility in Kolkata, India very soon.



Premier's Tea have now confirmed their participation in the Caffe Culture 2010 exhibition taking place in June. Occupying stand Q15 they will be exhibiting their selection of the highest quality Indian Teas along with their UK Importers, E Thorpe and Sons. Also happening in the very near future will be the launch of a bespoke new website which will allow trade customers to be able to order online and at trade prices as well as allowing retail customers to order. Trade customers will be able to apply for a specific login to their account which will then automatically apply the correct prices.

The Caffe Culture show signals the start of Premiers Tea entry to the UK tea trade market and anybody who appreciates a good tea will be able to see what Premier's Tea can offer.






E Thorpe and Sons report a very successful launch of the Premier's Tea brand after the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC

 

Sunday saw the final day of the BBC Good Food Show held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. The reaction from the show visitors was a clear indication that Premier’s Tea is a brand that will continue to make in roads into the UK. Over 1500 tea tasters were served, with a range of teas including Darjeeling Green, Flavoured Darjeeling Green, Chocolate, Irish Breakfast and more. Edward and Jason Thorpe of E Thorpe and Sons along with Mr Chayan Shah     of Premier’s Tea hosted the stand for the 5 day show.

“The customer reaction was superb.” Quotes Edward Thorpe    . “The tea tasting carried out by Chayan and Jason was a real success.” Not only did the show create a great platform for Premier’s to make the brand visible to UK consumers, it also gave several trade buyers a chance to make contact with the brand. Interest from trade ranged from retailers to hospitality suite managers. Premier’s and E Thorpe and Sons will continue to promote the brand at the forthcoming Caffe Culture. 2010 promises to be a very busy year.
